Executive Summary

This policy applies to 10B Calc across iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, published and maintained by Finmak Softwares (“we”, “us”), located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

What We Collect

Nothing. We do not collect, capture, store, log, transmit, sell, or share any personally identifiable information or usage analytics through the app. There are no marketing analytics libraries, crash diagnostic trackers, or remote profiling scripts bundled into the software.

What Stays On Your Device

To function properly as a high-performance financial calculator and preserve your records, 10B Calc stores the following items locally within the operating system's protected app sandbox on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac:

• Calculation Worksheets & History: Variables, parameters, calculation timestamps, and results you generate.
• Memory Registers: Values you explicitly commit to storage slots M0–M19 and financial TVM registers (N, I/YR, PV, PMT, FV).
• Custom App Preferences: Decimal place precision, currency indicators, and date formatting conventions.

Finmak Softwares cannot view, inspect, or retrieve any of this data. If you back up your device to iCloud or a computer, your local application state is protected according to Apple's own encryption and security standards. Deleting a calculation inside the app erases it permanently; deleting the app removes the local sandbox entirely.

When you export a PDF report or CSV table, that file is created directly on your local device and shared only through the system share sheet destinations you personally designate.

Apple Platform Diagnostics

All app downloads and licensing purchases are processed directly by Apple Inc. Apple may provide registered developers with aggregated, anonymized metrics (such as aggregate installation counts by country and crash logs if you explicitly opted into sharing diagnostic information in iOS/macOS settings). These reports contain no user identifiers. Apple's data practices are governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.

Customer Support Correspondence

If you send us an email seeking support, we receive only the information you voluntarily provide: your return email address, your message text, and any diagnostic attachments you choose to include (such as sample calculation parameters). We utilize this information exclusively to assist you with your inquiry, retain it only as long as necessary to resolve the support ticket, and never provide it to third parties or use it for promotional marketing.

Children's Privacy

10B Calc does not collect information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or under the applicable age of majority in your jurisdiction). The app is entirely safe for educational classroom and student use.

Your Legal Rights

Because 10B Calc does not collect or process personal data on remote servers, there is no hosted personal dossier for us to access, correct, port, or erase. Regardless of your region — including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK Data Protection Act, or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) — you can inquire about or request deletion of any support email exchanges by writing to our data contact address below.

Policy Updates

Should future updates ever introduce optional cloud syncing or collaborative sharing, we will publish an amended privacy policy in advance, adjust the effective date, and outline the opt-in mechanism within the App Store release notes.
